![]() ![]() The other-wordly backgrounds (of which there are eight) look great, and the gems themselves are coloful and shiny. The presentation of Jewels Star feels very polished. In terms of the behaviors of all the power-ups and how to solve the levels, it's something you'll pick up as you go along (a clue: get the blue star down to the bottom of the pile to complete a level). The controls themselves are simple though - you just tap on a gem to select it then tap on an adjacent one to swap them around. If you've never played a match-three puzzle game before, Jewels star might be a bit overwhelming at first, and the help screens aren't very clear at explaining what to do. There are more than 350 levels in total in Jewels Star.
